Using an affiliate program to grow your panel
Your customers can become your sales team. How to set up an affiliate program that brings real customers — not abuse.
Word of mouth is the most trusted form of marketing. An affiliate program rewards it and makes it measurable.
How it works
Each customer gets a personal referral link. When someone signs up through it and pays, the referrer earns a commission — usually a percentage of the new customer's spending, credited to their balance.
Setting the commission
The commission must be attractive enough to share and small enough to keep your margin. A percentage of deposits or of profit, rather than of every order, protects you on low-margin services.
Rules that prevent abuse
- No self-referrals. Block commissions when the referrer and the new account look like the same person.
- A minimum payout before commission can be withdrawn.
- A holding period before commission is released, so refunded payments don't pay out.
- Clear terms you can enforce.
Help affiliates succeed
Give them ready-made material: short descriptions of your panel, your best services and your advantages. Affiliates who know what to say bring better customers.
Track the right number
Count referred customers who keep ordering, not just sign-ups. A few affiliates who bring loyal customers are worth more than many who bring one-time visitors.
